Interpretation and Definitions


The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.


For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Adwait Foundation®, Delhi, India.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to Adwait Yoga School, accessible from
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Adwait Yoga School Refund Policy

We are committed to providing our students with the highest quality training in Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, and other holistic health practices. As part of our commitment to excellence and integrity, we have established the following Refund Policy regarding the fees for our courses and services. Please read the following terms carefully:

Non-Refundable Fees

 All fees paid towards courses, workshops, retreats, regular classes, and any other services offered by Adwait Yoga School are strictly non-refundable. This policy applies to all forms of payment, including but not limited to cash, bank transfers, credit cards, and online payments.

Course Enrollment and Payment

Upon enrolling in a course or service at Adwait Yoga School, students are required to pay the full fee as stated at the time of registration. The payment of fees signifies the student’s agreement to complete the course and adhere to the school’s policies, including the Refund Policy.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that a student decides to cancel their enrollment before the commencement of the course or service, no refund will be provided. However, at the discretion of Adwait Yoga School’s administration, a credit note may be issued for the amount paid, which can be used towards future courses or services within a specified period.

Non-Attendance or Withdrawal

Fees are non-refundable for students who do not attend or choose to withdraw from a course or service after it has commenced. There will be no partial refunds for missed classes, sessions, or any part of the course.

Course Cancellation by Adwait Yoga School

In the rare event that Adwait Yoga School must cancel a course or service due to unforeseen circumstances, students will be offered the option to transfer to an alternative course date or receive a full refund. This is the only circumstance under which a refund will be issued.

Transfer of Registration

Registrations are non-transferable. Fees paid by a registered student cannot be transferred to another student or applied to a different course or service.

Agreement to Policy

By enrolling in any course or service at Adwait Yoga School, students agree to this Refund Policy. It is the responsibility of each student to understand the terms of this policy before enrolling.

Policy Amendments

Adwait Yoga School reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our official website or direct communication to our students.
We understand that life circumstances can sometimes lead to changes in plans. While we empathize with such situations, we maintain a strict non-refundable fee policy to ensure the sustainability and quality of our programs. We encourage our students to carefully consider their commitment before enrolling in our courses and services.

Adwait Yoga School: Fee Inclusions and Exclusions

At Adwait Yoga School, we strive to provide transparent and comprehensive information regarding the financial aspects of our courses and services to ensure our students can make informed decisions. Below, you will find detailed information about what is included and excluded in the fees for our courses and programs. Please review this information carefully to understand the full scope of your financial commitment when enrolling in our courses.

Fees Inclusions:

1. Course Material: Fees include all required course material such as textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources that are necessary for the completion of the course.
2. Tuition: The tuition covers all instructional costs associated with the course, including lectures, workshops, practical sessions, and assessments conducted by our qualified instructors.
3. Facility Access: Students have access to the school’s facilities during their enrollment, including yoga studios, meditation halls, and any other spaces designated for instructional purposes.
4. Equipment Use: Necessary equipment for yoga and meditation practices, such as mats, blocks, straps, and cushions, are provided for use during instructional sessions.
5. Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certification from Adwait Yoga School, recognizing their achievement and qualifications in the respective discipline.
6. Support Services: Students have access to our student support services, including academic advising, and wellness support during their enrollment.

Fees Exclusions:

1. Accommodation: Unless specifically stated as part of a residential program, accommodation costs are not included in the course fees. Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation if needed.
2. Travel Expenses: All travel expenses, including airfare, local transportation, and transfers, are the responsibility of the student and are not included in the course fees.
3. Personal Equipment: While basic equipment for practices is provided, students may wish to use their own personal equipment or purchase additional items, which is not covered by the course fees.
4. Meals and Beverages: Unless specified in the program details, meals and beverages are not included in the course fees. Students are responsible for their own meals and refreshments.
5. Insurance: Students are advised to have their own health and travel insurance. Adwait Yoga School does not provide insurance coverage for students.
6. External Certifications: If a course or program prepares students for external certifications or registrations (e.g., Yoga Alliance), any fees associated with these external entities are not included in the course fees.
7. Supplementary Workshops and Retreats: Special workshops, retreats, or events offered outside the standard curriculum may incur additional fees, which are not included in the basic course fees.
8. Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses such as laundry, phone calls, internet usage (beyond any free access provided by the school), and other incidental expenses are the responsibility of the student.
9. External Registration fees: The Registration Fees with Yoga Alliance or any other Registrar, are paid by the students themselves.

Additional Notes:

– Payment Plans: Adwait Yoga School may offer payment plans for certain courses or programs. Details and terms of payment plans will be provided separately.
– Scholarships and Financial Aid: Information about scholarships or financial aid, if available, will be provided upon request and may have specific eligibility criteria.
– Refund Policy: Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on the conditions under which fees may or may not be refunded.

Your Order Cancellation Rights for Goods

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.
The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.
In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.


If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
