Adwait Yoga School Rules, Terms and Conditions, and Suspension Policy

Welcome to Adwait Yoga School, where we are dedicated to fostering an environment of learning, growth, and respect in the pursuit of holistic health and wellness. In order to maintain the high standards of our community and ensure a positive experience for all students and staff, we have established the following comprehensive rules, terms and conditions. Violation of these guidelines may result in suspension or expulsion from the course or program. Please read the following carefully.

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://adwaityoga.com website (the “Service”) operated by Adwait Foundation® (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

General Conduct

1. Respect and Integrity: All students are expected to treat fellow students, teachers, and staff with respect and integrity. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
   
2. Attendance and Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for your progress and the smooth operation of our courses. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions unless a valid reason is provided.
 
3. Dress Code: Students are required to adhere to a modest dress code that is suitable for yoga and meditation practices. Clothing should be comfortable, non-revealing, and appropriate for a communal learning environment.
 
4. Personal Belongings: Students are responsible for their personal belongings. Adwait Yoga School is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
 
5. Use of Facilities: Students must use the school’s facilities, equipment, and materials with care and respect. Any damage to school property may result in charges for repair or replacement.
 

Academic Integrity

1. Honesty: Students must uphold academic honesty in all assignments, exams, and practices. Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty will lead to disciplinary action.
 
2. Participation: Active participation in classes, workshops, and activities is expected. Students should engage in discussions, practices, and group activities in a constructive manner.
 
3. Feedback: Constructive feedback is encouraged, and students are welcome to share their thoughts and suggestions regarding the course content, teaching methods, and overall experience at Adwait Yoga School.
 

Health and Safety

1. Health Declaration: Students must disclose any health conditions, injuries, or special needs that may affect their participation in the course. This information will be kept confidential and used solely to ensure the safety and well-being of the student.
 
2. Safety Practices: Students must follow all safety instructions provided by the teachers and staff. This includes adhering to proper techniques during physical practices to prevent injury.
 

Suspension Policy

1. Grounds for Suspension: A student may be suspended for violating any of the above rules, terms, and conditions, including but not limited to disrespectful behavior, academic dishonesty, repeated absences, and damage to property.
 
2. Procedure: In the case of a rule violation, the student will receive a formal warning and an opportunity to rectify their behavior. Continued violations may result in suspension. The length and terms of the suspension will be determined by the severity of the violation and the student’s history.
 
3. Appeal Process: Students have the right to appeal a suspension decision. The appeal must be submitted in writing to the administration office within 7 days of the suspension notice. The appeal will be reviewed, and a final decision will be made by the school’s disciplinary committee.
 
4. Reinstatement: Conditions for reinstatement after suspension will be communicated to the student and may include a probationary period, completion of specific tasks, or other requirements as deemed appropriate.
 
By enrolling in a course or program at Adwait Yoga School, students agree to abide by these rules, terms, and conditions. Our aim is to create a harmonious and conducive learning environment for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to upholding the standards of our community.
